Will First Nations’ remains be respected?

At one time even aboriginal grave sites were violated to accommodate development.

In October 2008, Amick Consultants Limited, archaeological consultants from Port McNicoll and London, ON recommended a Stage 2 assessment at the following two sites:

  1. the Anten Mills well site – 1053 Coughlin Road and
  2. the Russell Road well site – Road Allowance Concessions 2 and 3.

The say this because they view these sites as having a “high potential for archaeological resources of First Nations origin”
