How much carbon dioxide does one mature sugar maple tree remove from the atmosphere?

They say 450 pounds is sequestered each year.

About 5,000 more pounds of carbon dioxide will be in the atmosphere in 2012 because the 10 to 12 Doran Road maples were cut down. Old trees sequester 90 times more carbon than young trees do.
